Cut The Rope is available now in BlackBerry World for BlackBerry Z10

Cut the Rope

Om Nom is back! If you're a Cut The Rope fan, you've no doubt been wondering when the game would be updated with BlackBerry 10 compatibility and finally, the wait is over. Cut The Rope is available now in BlackBerry World for BlackBerry Z10. if you're new to the game, it's priced at $1.99 but if you previously purchased it on the BlackBerry PlayBook it's available for free.

Cut The Rope, in case you're not familiar, is a cute puzzle game where you have to swipe your finger across ropes to release the delicious bundles of candy into Om Nom's mouth while ensuring you collect stars along the way. Sounds easy but there's plenty of obstacles and situations arise that make feeding Om Nom just a tad bit difficult.

BlackBerry R10 packing a 2180mAh battery

BlackBerry R10 non-removable
We told you earlier that the latest pre-production model of the mid-tier BlackBerry R10 had a non-removable battery. At first the rumor had the device showing an 1800mAh battery like the Z10 but it turns out it is actually packing a 2180mAh battery behind its non-removable (at least not easily removable) back. That should give the device equal or slightly better battery life than the Q10 which easily makes it through a hard day. What do you think of the non-removable battery now?

Poynt for BlackBerry 10

Poynt has really made its mark in the smartphone industry, BlackBerry specifically, it hasn’t been available forBlackBerry 10 devices up until now. Poynt for BlackBerry 10 is an Android ported app but seems to be running fairly well on my BlackBerry Z10 device as it picked up my location pretty much instantly. Those of you all not familiar with Poynt:
Poynt is an award-winning local search app that lets you find and connect with businesses, movies, restaurants, people, offers and events near you whenever and wherever you need them. Poynt allows you to interact with your search through placing calls to businesses, mapping directions, viewing showtimes and movie trailers or reserving a table at a local restaurant.

Q10 is now available in Canada!

Today, May 1st the BlackBerry Q10 device is available in Canada by all major carriers.

Carriers in Canada will be selling the device for $199.99 on a 3-year contract agreement. If you head over to your local carrier store in Canada the device will be available for purchase.

With the successful launch in the UK and the exclusive sold out sales by Selfridges, I would expect the BlackBerry Q10 to be a success in Canada as well.

For those of you in the United States, the wait is not much longer as the BlackBerry Q10 is expected to be released by the end of this month (May).
